Retro Gaming Discussion – Mortal Kombat 3 on PS3

Of course, it would not be Mortal Kombat without any fatalities. Each character is fitted with two fatalities, though this time around they’re a bit surrealistic but still gorier than the last game. Friendships and Babalities are still in effect and make another appearance. Not only does this affect the characters moving forward, but also the amount of damage that is done. Talk about stacking crit though, this game is still in effect today as seen in Mortal Kombat Trilogy.

The time has arrived for another slayer of cyber reality, and true to form, it is the result of a love story. This time around, Sony’s faithful practitioner of the fatalities is paired up with a Japanese princess, of course. The true story of Princess busted out of jail by any means necessary follows that of the traditional sorts, in that she kills every criminal on the planet. While this might sound like realism, it’s important to note that this is all done on a cartoon. How much more intense could these be?

Let’s get this. MUCH more intense. Mortal Kombat 3 is the first title in the series that has gone beyond a single-player storyline. The game has a multiplayer mode, but that is mainly so you can have somebody else take control of the character you normally would. While this is great for in-house play, it makes the game far easier to unlock, and in turn, unlock more content. Obviously, the company had other ideas and wanted to shoot the door wide open with as much content as possible. In the pre-order testing phase, it was discovered that the amount of content in the game was so heavy, that many players would be unable to finish the game in all its modes. This resulted in the game being released with a lot of content, but little to no room to go through it with.

Of course, this was all before the online mode. Back in the spring of 2008, MKT(Metal Knock Tumble) was released. This was the first of the online-only games, which Instead of taking place in a ring, was a 9 vs. 9 straight out of the gate. Sadly, in the midst of this game, Sony announced that the PS3 would have a near-perfect 1000GB hard drive by the end of 2008. This was in time and it was later announced that the PS3 would be no longer existing as a dual console, but become a single console at a price of $499. This was one of the key points of the announcement.

Many believe that this was Sony’s way of controlling the PS3 because in many ways it is. One of the key features of the PS3 is the built-in Blu-Ray drive. If a storyline came out on Blu-Ray, players would have to have the actual Blu-Ray player to be able to watch it. Additionally, the PS3 would become the only system at the time with a hard drive. The drive could become scratched, which would then mean that you would no longer be able to play your most recent games. The PS3 has been scratched before, as scratches can sometimes be repaired with the help of a drop of water.

Due to the Blu-Ray drive, there will be no longer be the need to purchase memory cards. Instead of buying a 2.5″ SATA memory card that comes with a bulky and expensive 20GB SD memory card, players will be able to use the Blu-Ray drive to store their data. This means that they will only need one piece of equipment as opposed to two. Additionally, the ability to download games straight from the PlayStation Store is no longer an issue. Pre-loaded games will be usable at no additional cost.

An additional notable change is the ability to browse the PlayStation Store using the Bravia Sync service. This was previously mentioned as being removed, and not entirely sure why it was removed. It’s now been removed from the game as well, which should provide consumers with a certain degree of peace of mind.

These are the only changes to the PlayStation 3 as a result of the demographics discussed above. Overall, PlayStation 3 appears to have a much more solid game line than the XBOX 360. XBOX 360 has a game line that is still plagued with overheating problems, which can result in the red ring of death.

For many reasons, this seems to be the case. The PS3 game line has been criticized for a few of its titles being late, and still releasing simultaneously on the PS3 and other consoles. However, with the addition of Proceed and Motor Storm, plus the relatively weak lineup of PS2 games, PS3 has a much better lineup of included games.

PS3 is also backward compatible with PSX and PS1 games. This should be one of the most important reasons for purchasing a PS3.

3 Flashing Red Lights on the Xbox 360

No doubt you are reading this article because you want to fix the 3 red lights problem on your Xbox 360. You have been searching all over the internet for different information and I am here to give you some tips that will help you with this problem. First of all, make sure that you do not move the Xbox when it is having a problem to prevent the system from overheating. It is also a good idea to make sure that your room is dust-free, once again this is to prevent the system from overheating. If you keep your Xbox in a media center, make sure that you keep it as dust-free as possible, a little dust can throw off the specs, and when the system starts having problems it can suck in dust and end up damaging the hard drive.

If you are still in the 3 red lights stage then your biggest problem is the fact that you really do not know how to fix your Xbox. There are so many different things that could go wrong with the system that the creators of the system did not really expect such a huge issue, and they are currently working on fixing this problem. What you have been told so far is that you should send it to Microsoft and have it fixed and here is the information that you can use to help with that decision.

If you are sending it into Microsoft then you will be facing a wait of up to 6 weeks and then on top of that you will have to pay them $140 for the fix and then on top of that if they are not confident in fixing the system then they will send it back and you have to wait again. This is the reason why so many people are not again taking the leap and sending in their 360s to Microsoft.

Luckily there is now a simple way to fix your Xbox and it will only cost you a fraction of what Microsoft would charge. The fix only takes a few simple steps and then you will be ready to go online and play your 360 games or go on Xbox Live and still have your system’s memory.

To make the small investment of $30 or less than that you can purchase a self-repair guide for about $30. These guides are very simple to use and all you have to do is follow the steps. Then after you make the small investment you will be up and running in no time.

It does not matter what one of the main reasons you do not want to send your system to Microsoft, all of the other reasons that you have are still going to be valid.

Rock- attracts removable and exchangeable parts and is very easy to apply.

Flashing Lights- Flashing Lights are lights that flash in either of the quadrants, when the quadrant lights are blinking simultaneously what is going to happen is the light will flash and there will be four quadrants around the power button.

Quadrant 1– The first quadrant will contain the number of lights that are going to flash. When these go to the bottom of the button you will have to click the trigger button that is on top of the controller to turn the lights back to the green color.

Quadrant 2– If any of the lights in the second quadrant are flashing, this means that there is a problem with the hardware of your system. When you get this problem it is going to be many of the same problems throughout the 360. Make sure to keep all of the lights of the power supply as green as possible.

Quadrants 3, 4, and toes– All of these quadrants are all going to be flashing now. At this point, you will want to know what is causing this problem because some of the issues can be fixed while the game is still playing. If there are too many errors in a specific quadrant it may be sending your game to Microsoft for repair.

All Quadrants– All quadrants will be flashing now. This is a simple hardware failure. This means that one particular quadrant is not connected. As you are reading this you are going to have to figure out a way to connect quadrants one and two. To do this you are going to need to switch all of the lights from quadrant four and connect them into quadrants one and three.

When you have done that you should be able to see that you have a permanent connection and you can now reboot your system.

So I hope this article has helped you decide if you are going to send your system to Microsoft or not and what you need to make the right decision. Whatever reason you have for not wanting to send your system to Microsoft, I hope this article has made you realize that there is an alternative to doing this.
